Great news for the silver coin collectors today! It was reported by Bloomberg Businessweek that the U.S. Mint sold a whopping 4.26 million ounces of the silver American Eagle coins to authorized purchasers from 01/03/2012-01/10/12. This trend has analyst saying that silver might get up to $42.20 an ounce this year, which was based on median estimate by 41 analyst surveyed by Bloomberg.
